7 Healthy Snack Options for your child

It was the first snack pot in school after summer break, and the students of grade 4 were all asked to bring ‘healthy snacks’ for the day. This announcement stirred a conversation in the classroom immediately turning the disciplined class into a noisy fish market. Angry Subodh sir just had to turn towards the classroom after scribbling the note on the class board to make the noise shoo away with merely a stern glance. A scared but bold student gathered the courage to volunteer for the entire class, by asking “Sir, what exactly are healthy snacks?” That was all that was needed for everyone to ask their doubts one after the other.

Were they supposed to just bring fruits and salads?

Or will their moms have to slog for hours in the kitchen to make them a tediously prepared snack? What about the students who had working moms? When their mom’s busy schedule left them with no extra hours for exaggerated cooking?

After an array of questions, Subodh sir let out what looked like half a smile; seeing the curiosity of his students. He declared that he would clear all the confusion in a special on screen lecture after Math class titled Celebrating Healthy Snacks : Healthy snacks that are yummy too!

As all the students rushed for math class to be over, it was time for their screen lecture. Mr Subodh began with the first slide that said Celebrating Healthy Snacks.
